By downloading, installing, or using the Paylio mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Ignivox Tech Private Limited ("Paylio", "Company", "we", "our", or "us"), registered at Plumeria, 17 CPR Layout Road, Haralur Main Road, HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560102, India.
To use Paylio, you must:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid Indian mobile phone number
• Hold a valid Permanent Account Number (PAN) issued by the Income Tax Department of India
• Be a resident of India or an Indian national with applicable tax obligations in India
By registering, you represent that all information you provide — including your full name (which must match your PAN card), date of birth, and mobile number — is accurate, complete, and truthful. Providing false information is grounds for immediate account termination and may constitute an offence under applicable Indian law.
• You must register by providing your full name (as it appears on your PAN card), date of birth, and mobile number. Your mobile number will be verified via a one-time password (OTP) at each login.
• During registration, you must select your user type as either "Freelancer" or "Creator". This selection determines the features and interface available to you. To change your user type after registration, contact our support team.
• You may optionally provide your GST Identification Number (GSTIN) during registration. If provided, your GSTIN will be used for invoice generation.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your OTPs and authentication tokens. You must not share OTPs or account access with any third party.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account through the Help and Support section in the App.
• Paylio uses OTP-based authentication. There are no passwords to manage; each login session is authenticated via OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
• To access wallet, payment, and withdrawal features, you must complete Know Your Customer (KYC) verification by submitting your 10-character PAN card number and a clear photograph of the front side of your PAN card.
• The name on your PAN card must match the full name provided during registration. A mismatch will cause verification to fail.
• KYC verification is processed by our authorised verification partners and is typically completed within minutes. In some cases, it may take up to 48 hours. You will be notified of your verification status within the App.
• We reserve the right to restrict or suspend your account if KYC verification fails, if we suspect fraudulent documentation, or if your information cannot be verified against PAN records.
• KYC data is handled as Sensitive Personal Data or Information (SPDI) under applicable law. Refer to the Privacy Policy for full details.
• Paylio allows you to create and manage professional invoices. You may add services with descriptions and amounts, specify payment terms and conditions, and send invoices to your clients.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all invoice information, including service descriptions, pricing, tax calculations, applicable GST, and terms and conditions.
• Default invoice terms (e.g., "refund will not be provided") may be applied automatically. You may customise, add, edit, or remove these terms before sending an invoice. Paylio is not responsible for disputes arising from invoice terms you set.
• Paylio is a tool for invoice creation and management. We are not a party to the agreement between you and your client, and we do not guarantee payment collection.
• You must not create invoices for fictitious services, inflate amounts, or use Paylio's invoicing features for any fraudulent billing practice.
• Your Paylio Wallet stores funds received from invoice payments and other authorised income sources.
• You may withdraw funds from your Wallet to your linked primary bank account, subject to successful KYC verification and a linked bank account.
• All transactions are recorded and visible in your transaction history (Wallet and All Transactions screens).
• Paylio is not a bank and does not hold a banking licence. Wallet balances are maintained through our partnered banking infrastructure in compliance with applicable RBI guidelines.
• We reserve the right to hold, delay, or reverse transactions in cases of suspected fraud, regulatory requirements, AML/CFT compliance obligations, or violation of these Terms.
• Payment processing is carried out by our authorised payment partners (including Razorpay and other RBI-authorised processors). By using payment features, you agree to comply with the terms of the applicable payment processor.
• You may add one or more bank accounts to your Paylio profile. You must designate one account as your primary account for wallet withdrawals.
• You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all bank account details provided — including account number, IFSC code, and bank name.
• Paylio is not liable for failed or misdirected transactions resulting from incorrect bank details provided by you.
• You may swipe through your linked accounts on the Bank Account screen and update your primary account at any time.
• Paylio provides a platform to browse Fixed Deposit (FD) plans from various banking partners, use an FD calculator to estimate returns, and manage your FD portfolio within the App.
• Fixed Deposit products are offered by our banking partners and are subject to their respective terms, conditions, interest rates, and protections. Paylio acts as a facilitator and is not the deposit-holding institution.
• FD interest rates, tenures, and terms displayed in the App are indicative and subject to change by the respective banks without prior notice. Confirm current rates with the relevant bank before investing.
• All FD investments are subject to applicable tax deductions (including TDS) under Indian Income Tax laws. Paylio does not provide tax advisory services.
• Paylio is not responsible for losses arising from FD investments, changes in bank interest rates, or the financial condition of any banking partner.
• Users who register as "Creator" gain access to the Media Kit builder and Content Planner tools.
• The Media Kit allows you to compile and share your social media statistics and professional profile with brands and collaborators. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information presented in your Media Kit.
• The Content Planner helps you schedule and organise content. Paylio does not publish content on your behalf and is not responsible for content published on any third-party platform.
• Social media statistics and audience metrics displayed in your Media Kit are sourced from data you provide or authorise. Paylio does not independently verify the accuracy of such metrics.
• Paylio may offer promotional coupons redeemable within the App. Coupons are subject to specific terms, validity periods, and eligibility criteria as described at the point of offer.
• Coupons have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be combined with other promotions unless explicitly stated.
• Paylio reserves the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw any coupon or promotional offer at any time without prior notice.
You agree not to:
• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information during registration or KYC verification
• Use the App for money laundering, tax evasion, hawala transactions, or any illegal financial activity under Indian law

• The Paylio App — including its design, code, branding, icons, illustrations, and user interface — is the intellectual property of Ignivox Tech Private Limited and is protected under applicable Indian copyright and trademark laws.
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for its intended personal and professional purposes, in accordance with these Terms.

• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to: failed or delayed transactions, incorrect FD calculations, withdrawal delays, data loss, or reliance on App-generated financial analytics.
• Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total amount of fees paid by you to Paylio in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
• We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, products, or services of third-party banking partners, payment processors, or KYC verification providers.
• Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ignivox Tech Private Limited, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the App in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law; (c) inaccurate information provided by you; or (d) disputes between you and your clients arising from invoices or payments facilitated through Paylio.

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, fail KYC verification, engage in suspicious or fraudulent activity, or if required by applicable law or regulatory direction.
• Upon termination, your access to the App will be revoked. Any remaining Wallet balance (after applicable deductions and regulatory holds) will be transferred to your primary linked bank account within a reasonable period, subject to any legal or regulatory restrictions.
• Sections 12 (Intellectual Property), 13 (Limitation of Liability), 14 (Indemnification), 16 (Dispute Resolution), and any accrued rights and obligations shall survive termination.
