Paylio is a financial management app designed specifically for freelancers and content creators in India. It helps you create professional invoices, track expenses, manage your wallet and withdrawals, browse Fixed Deposit plans, and — for creators — build media kits and plan content, all from a single platform.
Download the Paylio app and tap 'Sign Up'. The process has two steps: first, enter your full name (as it appears on your PAN card), date of birth, and mobile number — your number will be verified via OTP. Then select your user type (Freelancer or Creator) and optionally add your GSTIN. That's it.
An account already exists with that mobile number. Tap 'Login' instead of 'Sign Up' and authenticate via OTP. Paylio uses OTP-based authentication — there is no password to reset.
User type is set during registration. To change it, contact our support team through the Help and Support section in the App. Our team will assist you.
Your registered name is cross-verified against your PAN card during KYC. A name mismatch will cause verification to fail, preventing access to wallet, payment, and withdrawal features.
KYC (Know Your Customer) is a mandatory regulatory requirement under Indian financial laws. Completing KYC with your PAN card allows us to verify your identity and enables wallet features, payment collection, and fund withdrawals.
Go to the 'More' section in the App and tap 'KYC'. Upload a clear photo of the front side of your PAN card and enter your 10-character PAN number, then tap 'Verify'. You will be notified once verification is processed.
KYC is typically processed within minutes. In some cases it may take up to 48 hours. You will see your verification status on-screen and receive a notification when it is complete.
Check that: (a) your PAN card photo is clear and shows the full front side without obstructions, (b) the PAN number you entered is correct and matches the card, and (c) the name on your PAN card exactly matches your registered name. If the issue persists, raise a complaint through Help and Support.
Tap 'Invoice' on your dashboard, then 'Create Invoice'. Add your client's details, list your services with descriptions and amounts, set your payment terms and conditions, and send the invoice. You can also specify the payment collection method.
Yes. During invoice creation you will reach a 'Terms and Conditions' screen where you can add, edit, or remove conditions. The default term is 'refund will not be provided', but you can change it to anything that suits your agreement with the client.
Once your client pays against the invoice, the amount is credited to your Paylio Wallet. You can then withdraw it to your linked bank account. Make sure your KYC is complete and a bank account is linked before requesting payment.
No. Paylio provides the invoicing tool, but the payment obligation is between you and your client. Paylio does not guarantee payment collection and is not a party to your client agreement.
Your Paylio Wallet holds earnings from invoice payments and other authorised income. You can view your balance, see all transactions (income and withdrawals), and withdraw funds to your primary linked bank account.
Open the Wallet screen, tap 'Withdraw', and the funds will be transferred to your primary linked bank account. KYC verification must be complete before withdrawals are enabled.
Withdrawals require both completed KYC and at least one linked bank account with a primary account set. If both conditions are met and you still cannot withdraw, please raise a complaint through Help and Support.
No. Paylio is not a bank and does not hold a banking licence. Wallet balances are maintained through our partnered banking infrastructure in compliance with applicable RBI guidelines.
Go to the 'More' section, tap 'Bank Account', then tap 'Add new bank'. Enter your bank account number, IFSC code, and bank name. You can add multiple accounts.
Yes. You can link multiple bank accounts. Swipe through your accounts on the Bank Account screen. Ensure one account is set as 'Primary' — this is the account used for all wallet withdrawals.
Paylio lets you browse Fixed Deposit plans from various banking partners, use an FD calculator to estimate your returns based on principal, tenure, and interest rate, and manage your FD portfolio — all within the App.
FD products are offered by our partnered banks and are subject to those banks' terms, conditions, and protections (including DICGC insurance where applicable). Paylio facilitates the process but is not the deposit-holding institution. Review the respective bank's terms before investing.
No. FD rates, tenures, and terms displayed in the App are indicative and subject to change by the respective bank without prior notice. Always confirm current rates with the bank before committing.
The Media Kit is a tool for Creator accounts to build a professional profile showcasing your social media statistics, audience demographics, and collaboration details. You can compile this information and share it with brands and potential clients directly from the App.
The Content Planner helps you schedule, organise, and track your content across platforms. Plan your posts, set reminders, and maintain a consistent content calendar — all within Paylio. Paylio does not publish content on your behalf.
Go to the 'More' section, tap 'Help and Support', scroll to 'Need Support', and tap 'Complaint'. Describe your issue and submit the form. Our team will review and respond within 48 business hours.
Use the Help and Support section in the App or raise a complaint using the built-in complaint form. You can also email us at support@paylioapp.in. We aim to respond within 48 business hours.
Both documents are accessible from the 'More' section in the App. Tap 'Privacy Policy' or 'Terms and Conditions' to view the full text.
Contact our support team through the Help and Support section in the App to request account deletion. Please note that certain financial and KYC records must be retained as required by Indian law even after account deletion.
